Lemurnipples Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I have had Avowed for nearly 1 month now. It is has had multiple patches since I have started playing and after each patch - it has rendered the game unplayable, giving me an error code on loading the game. The 1st severak times - the code was 0xc0000050. It required me to uninstall then reinstall the game (tying up my computer for hours since the download speed seems so throttled from microsoft) - this is after checking for driver updates and making sure everything else is updated on my PC (with the exception of Windows 11 - which due to their issues with the updates - those are not being updated since mid January since they have had so many issues and nearly bricked my computer) This most recent update (3/28/25), I received a different error code 0xc0000409 I have run through all the trouble shooting available online (including sfx scndsk and chkdsk, updating drivers, Bios etc. Currently I cannot even get into the game due to this error code. Getting error codes and having to uninstall and reinstalll the game with every patch is ridiculous enough but now I can't even play the game,. Specs of my computer DESKTOP-US240KI Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable) 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 Home 24H2 OS build 26100.3476 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.54.0 (nothing updated in WINDOWS 11 since Jan due to the significant issues that Microsoft has had with their "updates") Currently, this game is unplayable and has been 1/2 the time I have had it due to error codes after patches. If this issue can't be resolved (a reasonable fix - not uninstalling and reinstalling with each patch) I think it is reasonable that I request my money back. I purchased the deluxe edition from you all about 3 days after launch. Please provide a reasonable solution.
