Ryan1999 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I am having issues getting my cross play to activate on PS5. I have tried an exhausted list of things, but it still presents the error message "Grounded could not be linked to a Microsoft Account at this time". I am lost for what to do. Has anyone else had any similar issues and if so how did you resolve them? Thanks.
DrakulDragon Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Same, and I opened up a ticket. Just found another thread though and deleted and reinstalled the game per that instruction. Works fine! Currently playing with a steam partner

A few things that helped others with similar issues: Make sure your Microsoft account isn’t already linked to another platform or console. Sometimes unlinking old devices helps. Double-check your privacy settings on the Microsoft account—cross-play permissions sometimes get blocked there. Try signing out of both the PS5 and Microsoft accounts completely, then sign back in fresh. If possible, test linking on the Microsoft account website first to see if it prompts any error or verification step. If none of that works, sometimes waiting a bit and trying again later helps too, as it could be a temporary server-side issue. Hope you get it sorted soon!
