I can’t continue on this quest it is bugged. It will not proceed past the talking with ryngrim and lodwyn. It just says sharp breath and that is it. I’ve read that other people go back before the temple and that it has fixed the problem but not always. I’ve also read that if you go with lodwyns choice it moves on but I want to go with ryngrims choice. Any ideas on what to do? Is there a patch coming to fix this? I won’t continue to play until this is fixed. 

Having the exact same problem. My last save that's available is before the Third Trial and I do NOT feel like doing that again, lol, especially if there's no guarantee it will work. I submitted a ticket in support yesterday and got emailed back by someone today asking for some more details. You might want to submit a ticket if you haven't already. I know on Reddit there's a bunch more with the same problem too.

I am having a different issue, the green barrier does not appear for me at all to have yatzli dispel it. Instead the door to enter naku kubel is available for me to enter. When I enter I am able to do the first task, the second task will not let me speak to the NPC to start it and the door is glitched.  So I complete the third task and do the  cut scene to talk to sandal I go up the elevator and fight a unending wave of enemies until I run out of the instance. The game does not update at this point and glitches saying I need to investigate naku Kubel and that I need to complete to second task.

I ended up just choosing the other option to move forward. I wasn’t upset with the results after I watched what happened. Ironjames it sounds like your whole instance there is bugged and not just the quest. 

So the way your system should save you should have a couple save files back you just have to go back to the one before the conversation then re-enter it and I found that you have to take the path where lödwyn takes her mask off to proceed on the severed Audra path
