An Untimely End Bug (Ambassador Missing)

Hello,

I'm playing Avowed on battle.net (logs as version 1.2.9.0 in the bnet launcher, so not sure if it has the 1.2.3 patch or not) and cannot turn in the report to the ambassador portion of the An Untimely End quest. I tried going back in my saves, even before the quest to enter the city, but could not get the ambassador to spawn. I've also tried progressing side quests and the watcher portion of An Untimely End, however there does not appear to be a way to get the ambassador to spawn at this point without, essentially, restarting the game. I'm loving Avowed, but am definitely stuck in my game at this point. Also, another small but interesting bug, the difficulty indicators next to quests have disappeared in my current save, but appear in earlier saves when I load those.

I’ve been told that several people have reported this bug and they’re working on a fix. I have a similar issue with this fix where I can talk to the ambassador but nothing happens afterward and I can’t progress. Something happened while I was talking to him forcing the dialogue to quit and it can’t be started again.
