Playing on Xbox Series X, the quest An Untimely End is bugged for me near the end and my earlier save is hours earlier. When I went to return and speak to the ambassador, some bandits started following my party members and when I entered the dialogue with him it suddenly quit and the inquisitor never appeared. Talking to him again he just repeats the same line, there's no way to continue the conversation and so the inquisitor never shows up halting the game from progressing. I'm hoping this can be patched as I don't want to start the game over again or lose hours of progress. My guess is the bandits or whomever following my party members bugged the dialogue somehow forcing it to quit.

I haven’t been able to progress since last Saturday. They refuse to refund my early access.

The patch that came out today has now fixed this for me and I can now progress in the game, thank you Obsidian.
