February 19, 2025Feb 19 I got Avowed on XBox Game pass and then purchased the (rip-off) five-days early upgrade so I could play on Pass for a while while I saved up for full version (rather than the 'rented' one) On normal release day I got the Standard version on Steam My existing game Game Pass saves weren't seen by Steam. I hunted around and located the saves and they're completely different - Steam uses a SomeSave.sav while Gamepass uses some wierd Micro$oft format that appears to be some Unreal Engine file and other stuff Cross-System-Saves might be harder to implement technically but surely you can stick to the same Save File Format on PC? OK Fair warning has been applied I'm gonna move the domain to https://perspak.com early Feb but will keep all content There are reasons behind this move which basically boil down to unifying my release schedule My friends are welcome to play (I'll set you up your own areas if you desire them) Please note that this process is messy so may take a few weeks
