I'm hoping that we get combat balance adjustments in 1.4 beyond the new tier weapons and trinkets. Right now balance is awful, with 2 handed elemental weapons outclassing everything else by an enormous margin. From the trailers it appears that we will now be able to make those weapons in every elemental flavor, which will only make those builds stronger. I'm not sure trinkets with various 2 effect combos will do anything other than make them stronger either.

I didn't mind a lot of the past changes, but almost every other build feels like I'm playing on hard mode compared to using a sour battle axe or a mint mallet now. It would be nice if we had high tier one handed weapon/shield builds again, some high tier poison and/or bleed, summoning, etc...

Grounded is high on my favorite games list, it would be disappointing to leave it with a meta that has no late game build variety.
