I've play 110 hours of grounded, and it's been a very enjoyable experience for me. However, in this time, there have been many times where I'm fighting a wolf spider, and when they move, sometimes I will get hit by a blade of grass and sent flying into the air. When this happens, it is an instant kill, and there is not much that can be done to prevent it besides avoiding combat is grassy areas.

Is there a way to change how grass interacts with the player so this won't happen or at least it won't cause instant death?

I've looked into this problem online, and there is a lot of footage, specifically in speedruns of this occurring (beware loud scream in the second video).

 

 

 

 

Agreed cos many times players do die unfairly due to grass and i was in the 2nd video as one of the players and we had to restart the game cos of that death... and after that the next time a player also died to grass during a fight with the wolfspider at the baseball there was a grass that was at leaning against the baseball when the spider moved the grass it hit the player and died within a split second and he was not even in front of the grass!
