Whenever i try hosting an online lobby ,i get an error saying : There was an issue hosting a multiplayer game, check your connection and try again,

Is there anything that i can do.

Me and my girlfriend are having the same issue today. We are both playing through the Xbox app for Windows. Other games like Deep Rock Galactic and Minecraft are working properly, but Grounded won't let us enter multiplayer game mode. "There was an issue hosting a multiplayer game. Check your connection and try again."

I see people have been posting about this issue since 2021, how is this not fixed yet??

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
