June 28, 20232 yr My first expedition into the pond depths and lab was met with much death. Having backpack drop enabled, I was disheartened to notice all my backpacks were missing in the depths. I spent a good while testing it and recording footage for a bug report, until... I noticed a large amount of backpacks sitting on the pond surface at the other end. They were all my depths backpacks. Now, I assume this is a solution to issues with backpacks in the depths, which is fine. But my suggestion is to add some sort of quick notification on death with dropped backpacks in the depths to inform the player as to where their backpacks can be retrieved. Perhaps in the form of a brief on screen pop up on respawn. TL;DR: Please tell players where their backpacks went when dropping them in the depths.
