Inquisitor - turn based

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking for advices regarding stat distribution for Inquisitor (Steel Garrotte + Soul Blade) - PotD, upscaled, turn-based, full party:

MIG 9/10 (+4 from: human, ogre/ Woedica gloves, gift of the Machine)

CON 8 (+2 from: belt)

DEX 8 (+2 from: Deadfire, boots of the stone)

PER 18/17 (+3 from: Eothas amulet, cowl of p.gaze/ blackened helmet, chameleon)

INT 14

RES 18 (+2 from: human, boots of the stone)

General idea is to start with pistol, rapier and dagger on the outskirts of encounters. Then around lvl10 in Neketaka jump into thick of the fight with Whispers or Modwyr+Toutilo’s Palm/Griffin/Watchers blade. What I want to achieve (from mid to late game) is a versatile MC able to fill gaps in party lines as off-tank, DPS or saboteur (dominating/ debuffing) - wherever necessity arises.

Thus I would like to ask for your opinion about aforementioned attributes, especially resolve. On the one hand I want to utilise Offensive Parry and outward spikes. On the other- 18 in RES feels like overkill between deep faith, psychovapmiric shield and eventually- borrowed instincts. Then again, Instincts and Shield require both action and resource.

Looking forward for your insight and ideas for more efficient stat distribution (or maybe quite different stats and equipment to for example tweak mobility, which this build is sorely lacking).
