Joe McPlumber
Most my bases have storage rooms lined with half-floor shelving and storage chests. Since 2.1 update the chests absolutely refuse to go underneath a shelf. If i move a chest anywhere near a shelf then it immediately tilts up to try to get onto the "floor". My only option if i want to move things around now is to destroy the shelving and start over, as the chests will butt up to the wall if there's no shelf. Then i can put up the shelving and the chests will eagerly jump onto it. I suppose the argument could be made that flooring was never intended as shelving but judging from videos i've watched it's become nearly universal practice. Took me a while to figure out what even was going wrong coz it seemed like the chests had suddenly lost the usual construction mechanics and were just whacked. Also storage chests now refuse to sit level on pebblet foundations. And i've yet to coax a fireplace to sit flush against a wall because "location occupied"; they prefer to sit one grid out. Joe McPlumber
PS there's only two small clumps of lint spawning under the entire shed, and i am experiencing an excess of crashes to dashboard which i can't correlate to any particular activity. I'm on Series X and i have the 1.2.1 patch.
Pericarditis
It took me a bit to get the fireplace set up. As for the lint, I just did a shed run and returned with 130+ so not sure why you're seeing so little. I'm not crashing either. I haven't adjusted my storage area since the addition if the trunks, but will probably be facing the same issue you are. I'm on the Series X.
