Since the patch yesterday, the game has been stuck loading before the main menu is even accessed. My partner and i both share this issue. Boot the game and get endless loading with a black screen. I am playing on stream while she is on gamepass, but we're both on pc. We've tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating drivers and windows, verifying game file integrity, setting launch options, and nothing works. 

 

Does anybody know of a way to get around this at the moment? Or, if not, hopefully this can be addressed and fixed in a patch very soon. We love the game, but it's completely unplayable at the moment, for us. 

This problem has been fixed! It turned out to be the mod that was installed, which steam wasn't getting rid of upon fresh installation. You will need to remove this manually by opening the local file location, uninstalling it through steam with that page open, then manually delete anything else.
