Suggestions for the future updates about "quality of life"

Recommended Posts

1.About Mod

The new game engine has been disable the Mods made by players in the latest updates. Will it be possible to get official support in the future?

I selected some of the Mods for ideas to help build a better game for quality of life. I'm hoping that inspires your aims for the future update targets.

Spoiler

        I.Configurable QoL mod

Spoiler

1.Increased size of small (20->40), big (40->80) and fridge (20->40) storages (option names - SmallStorageCapacity, BigStorageCapacity and FridgeStorageCapacity)

2.Attach ziplines to lab zipline anchors.

3.AOE pickup - by pressing configured hotkey. all pickupable items in configured radius around player will be put into inventory. This does not affect world preplaced items like small grass foliage, stone pebbles, tree sap on branches and so on. Stone pebbles, which were dropped from inventory or were spawned by destroying a rock, will be picked up.

4.AOE Pickup mode selection (option name AOEPickupMode, default 1) - by pressing configured hotkey (option name AOEPickupModeKey and AOEPickupModeModifierKey, default is Alt+Numpad 6) you can setect current pickup mode between All, Items only and Logs&Planks only.

       II.More BURG.L Quests Rewards

Spoiler

Adds the variety of missions, but the rewards are still rock science points. Maybe, some mission could reword new outfits which only show in appearance for fun. I mean the characters need new looks. 🥰

       III.Compass Mod

Spoiler

Yes, we need compass in the game, that we can find our way easier and lesser road signs!!

       IV.Custom Crosshairs

Spoiler

We do need that. More crosshairs.

       V.Simple Clock

Spoiler

Yeah, it's possible, but it's better to show game time instead of real time.

2.About Tools

  1.Offhand tool

Spoiler

There are small counts of offhand tools for optional use. I think it's a great time to expand it. For example, in combat, the player can choose not only to block attacks with a shield, but also to use the grimoire as an auxiliary function of the staff to expand the attack advantage. I personally recommend a secondary tool game update for the staff. The grimoire can be picked up for hidden locations; It can also be synthesized in the Grimoire crafting station for unlocking crafting specifications after defeating special bosses. The Grimoire not only AIDS the player in combat, but also in daily needs. For example, when collecting resources, we often build platforms for precious resources to collect, and some grimoires give players the opportunity to build temporary platforms to facilitate collection. This example also allows the player to reach some hidden high places to get special items.

  2.Shields

Spoiler

We all know that the number of shields available is very limited, so hopefully shields will be upgraded at Smithing Station to gain new features that will increase the use of lower-class shields.

3.About Accessories

Spoiler

Combat accessories are important, but functional accessories can also be released. For example, Aphid slippers can be turned into functional accessories so that the player does not need to equip them in the armor column.

4.About Rare Item

Spoiler

I think it's not just about fighting monsters, digging for treasure, collecting, and festival trees to get rare resources, but also about wandering robot merchants to get rare items. It's also a good way to consume the rock science points that are in the final stage.

5.About Mutation

Spoiler

I'm not asking you to add new mutations, but a new progress indicator for weapon mutations should be added to give players a better idea of how many mobs they still have to kill. As the same as the others if it's necessary.

6.About new content

Spoiler

I'm a beta player, and the current content is much improved compared to the beta version, but I wish I could add more content to the yard. For example, more underground lair, more bosses, more equipment, more insects, new game modes, etc.

However, I would like to learn to be grateful for your hard work. Thank the production team for the free game update, and look forward to your follow-up updates.
If DLC comes out, I'm all for it.
