December 7, 20223 yr Hey, Excellent game. My girlfriend and I'd put in about 150 hours into the game base building and hunting down black widows. The problem is that today, when we started the game as usual, my character was there as expected - fully geared up, ready to go. But for my girlfriend's character - she loaded the game at Kid's Case, with an empty inventory, but her mutations remained unlocked, with 0/2 mutations free compared to 0/5 mutations in her actual character progress. We tried loading up previous auto saves, but the same thing happens to her character. It's reset, all of her progress gone. I google'd around and found that this has happened to some people since 2020. We play on PC/Steam. This is really sad - we paid the price to play the game, only to have our progress reset. Is this the kind of quality that is considered Obsidian-level? What kind of bug can go unnoticed for so long? We'll stop playing this game altogether; this has happened before already and I'm losing faith in Obsidian and their future products.
