Waterskeeter- walks on water. Food source. Drops materials to make “water walking boots” that work as long as you are moving and have a short timer till you sink if you stop moving.
Small frogs- sticky tongue that pulls you closer 
Crickets- do noise/stun damage that can be negated using earmuffs (an additional head gear)
Cicadas- tanky. Also does noise damage. Lives up in the tree or high places. Can have its own style of armor to craft from it.
Grasshoppers- leap around. Could drop stuff for leggings that increase jump height and reduce fall damage. Also could make spikes weapons from the legs.

Scorpion- can pinch and stab you. It drops parts for armor and a poison spear.
