Sour Staff Still Causes Friendly Fire on Mild Difficulty

As per title. And boy does it cause a lot of it. Hard to even use the thing around other players... or yourself, if you get an unlucky bounce with the charge shot. It also does an insane amount of durability damage, enough to seemingly break level 9 armor pieces in just a few hits.
