Can't interact with anything at random - multiplayer

Lately when me and my gf have been playing I will not be able to interact with anything. I cannot drink, open doors, sleep, etc. I have no idea what makes this happen. Any ideas? 

 

Only thing that sends to fix this is completely quitting the game and restarting. No quick resume or anything.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
