Fun idea, add a DLC in which you end up in the house. Perhaps you venture into an object in the garden that gets somehow taken to the attic in and you have to make your way back to the garden, by starting in the attic you’d make your way down the through the spider invested wooden beams, floorboards, avoiding mice traps and wood lice along the way, leading you to bathrooms, bedrooms, little toy miniature cars to use to make your way back to the garden. Sort a micro machines nod. Endless ideas in a world this small. Lots of work in that idea though. 
Since there’s no rain in the game you could add a garden sprinkler now and then to emulate it, and maybe taming and riding red ants?

Theres so many possibilities for DLC maps. This and my idea for a Gardener neighbor for new biomes!

 

For this idea maybe a Cat to try and avoid in the large open areas?

 

And sprinker rain! Seconded! Maybe due to being so tiny, rain is dangerous and requires strong roofing to avoid damage in sprinkler rain zones?
