Weird fix for shared world crash

I'm having the bug where I crash as soon as I try to gost or join a shared world (a few seconds after I join) 

 

However, I found that having my bluetooth earphone connected to my PC before hosting/joining a game makes it 'work'. 

Note that I don't have sound on the earphone and have to use a headset to listen to the game and communicate with my team.
