Game crash with inventory sorting

I was just sorting some chest inventories when I tried sorting a chest that was full of mushroom bricks(I had just increased stack sizes) and clicking the button froze the game and started using all my RAM. Then it closed after a minute. Now I can't get into the game.

Something similar happened to me, I was sorting my food chest (which has 80% mushrooms) when the game decided to crash. The only main difference is that mine was on Xbox. I've submitted a bug report already but who knows if that'll do much of anything

Can also confirm this happened to me on Xbox One X. Sorting caused my game to crash. Mine was worse though because when I came back every item I had on my character was at half durability or less as well.

Yeah this is now confirmed as a bug and Obsidian have asked that we do not try to sort containers with high stack numbers or large amounts of items while they work a hotfix

With me this was with windows, simply it decided to load my ram memory and this was solved if I restarted the PC but after some time it filled up again until I changed windows.

Besides this fact can be the problem in the game itself, because it can download incorrectly and already appear several problems because of this, I would recommend you to try to reinstall the game and then if the problem will not go away try to reinstall windows.
