TriggeredDodge
This has happened on every save I play, the gnats will land in the water if shot with an arrow and instantly disappear almost as if they phase through the map. I know that sometimes they get water damaged but you can still find the corpse if that happens. I've found that it most frequently happens near the milk carton area by the fence. It occurs in both single player and multiplayer worlds on Xbox. This issue also happens if you throw any weapon at them, the weapon will dissapear along with the gnat. OfficiallyKirt
I have had this problem with virtually every gnat I have come across since the full release. Not just in one area, but throughout the entire map. Also I have had this problem with meaty gnats as well, either falling through the map completely or falling through the trashed computer.

I submitted a bug report about it a few days ago and I'd imagine it's going to be fixed in a patch or two since they already knew about the bug. I've not had the issue with meaty gnats as much but I see it most often in the flooded region. A fix I have found is that if they land on a player built platform like a grass floor they don't fall through, the issue is that it's tedious and honestly a waste of time unless you really need to kill them
OfficiallyKirt
There have been 3 patches already, yet this has not been addressed. Is there any indication that this will be fixed?
