I think there should be some rideable insects/bugs the map is massive and walking from one side to the other is a chore especially if I'm going for just one item. It could be an endgame sort of thing after you beat schmecter. You do get some of the orc devices used to control the bugs so why not let us use them to.

Jumping spiders would make a good land based, butterflies a good air based.

This idea is great, but I think it is very difficult to develop, and the various behaviors and volume collisions of mounts take a long time to polish

Personally, I think this game will change in a bad way if mounts are allowed.

It will be a fantasy game

The advantage of this game is that it does not tame animals.
