Repair glue types

Hello, I am looking in the glue factory and I see multiple types of glue. Some with easy ingredients and others with more rare ingredients. My question is can any type of glue be used for any tool/armor or do the tier III tools and armor require the rare item glue.

in other words can I use the east ingredient glue for anything I want and only use that? Is it just giving us options and convenience?
