So I understand many wanted the base attack feature but there are some that do not. Is there anyway we can opt out of base attacks on all modes. Many have spent many hours building huge bases and do not wish our work going for naught. 

Yeah, I'm not enjoying random structures I have built around the yard being attacked. It kinda makes me not want to attack bugs to harvest and collect materials. 

I also have an issue with base attacks as I am playing solo and during the attack the better, I was repelling the attack the more I got swarmed till I was overcome. Then a good portion of my base and equipment was destroyed. Don't see how any progress is possible like this.
