January 9, 20224 yr I know the workers at Obsidian had mentioned that they are playing a ton of survival games and looking at what things they can improve on as a whole, but have you ever watched any of the animated Tinkerbell movies? I believe Tinkerbell and the whole genre of fairies in general give a lot of inspiration on what machines can be added into the game as well as how they look, but can also steer building in a different direction as just a simple idea of turning an Acorn into a miniature tugboat or possibly a home is just enough to make a better connection to the player as they can be highly proud of what they have created in their own survival world when they have many more options with bits and bops to choose from.
