Xbox, how to access inventory?

I played POE1. Very easy to get into inventory.  But with two I cannot figure out how to get to the inventory, swap armor pieces, weapons etc.  I just get the two screen with stats and effects.  What gets me to the character screen where I can see what is equipped, what’s in the bag and can put other gear on?  I really can’t find it I’m losing my mind!!!! Anyone who can help please do!
