May 17, 20214 yr I accidentally posted this to Pillars 1 forum, reposting here: Hi, I just purchased Pillars 2 on sale and it is actually crashing on startup. It appears to be trying to access virtual memory for which it doesn't have appropriate access. I have verified the game cache, closed all other apps, updated drivers, the usual. I also temporarily disabled windows defender -- no dice. If someone from Obsidian support team could have a look at my crash logs I would appreciate it -- I can't play! crash.dmperror.log output_log.txt Edited May 17, 20214 yr by bad_science
May 24, 20214 yr Author Hi, unfortunately I had to refund my purchase (not able to play!) Hopefully someone can figure this out in case it's happening to anyone else.
