Footprints in sand/snow etc for immersion

New to POE2 from POE, and noticed on the first beach that there are no footprints created in the sand when moving around (as compared to leaving them in the snow in POE1/White March) - is this something they dropped in POE2 or another issue?

Not a huge deal but definitely breaks the immersion when the characters seem to float over the surface (and given the other visual upgrades somewhat strange).

 

Loving it otherwise.
