Insects spawning inside base

I’m not sure if this has already been brought up but there should be something that’s stops insects spawning inside your base. I just started building a new base and it turns out that my base just so happens to be on top of a wolf spider spawn point so I keep getting a wolf spider spawning on my base and damaging it. Also grass growing into my base is a pain to deal with as well .
