Game Crash on weapon swing

Hello, Fantastically fun game! Ever since mining the mint I've now had the game crash whenever I get into a fight and swing any weapon or tool at an enemy. I've tried downing all graphics turning off blurs and render scales to now avail. Playing on a multiplayer as host running Intel i9 3.6Ghz 16gbram Nvidia rtx 2070

 

update: after further testing new saves do not crash*and also it doesn't crash as long as i do not move* while i swing, only when i swing while moving forward or side to side. 

 

Update #2: Just realized there was a patch today that is likely the culprit and not anything to do with game progression as only just today have I experienced the issue and now have realized there was a patch. 

 

Final update! - haha I'm bad at science. it is only when i Kill an enemy that the game crashes. I can swing willy nilly but on the killing blow swing, game crashes no error message.
