August 4, 20205 yr Not sure if anybody has touched this subject yet but I think the implementation of shields maybe a good option for players who may be playing on higher difficulty levels or any difficulty level as it is. It's just my opinion but considering when you're out in the world and your near the oaktree there's acorns all over the place. The acorn pieces you pick-up are rather large so why not able to throw some kind of handle to it and now you have a shield! I think it has potential and considering type bugs that are in the game you could easily make Shields out of Aunt or ladybug or possibly even a stink bug or a bombardier beetle. I mean it might be pushing it to say that maybe you could make a shield out of sprigs I mean considering you make tools like a pebble axe and the pebble spear and pebble hammer, I mean strapping some across each other wouldn't be too far-fetched to make a shield or you could implement a new type of resource item when you chop down weeds, that make smaller versions of the weed stem, that you could slap together to make a weed stem shield or "weed shield".
