My friend and I noticed the ants are able to go through our stuff even if there are floors, door and walls in the way. We had our storage on the second floor but had to move it to the third floor to stop them but they still were able to go through it. Has anyone else seen this or just us and Is it a part of the game? Its mildly annoying as they steal all our stored food.

i have a base up on top of the log walls near the east side of the oak tree, floors are easily 4-5 player characters height above ground. Found some ants just sitting underneath and staring upwards recently, couldnt figure out why till i realized they had emptied half my chest onto the ground below somehow..
