PC crashing whenever I start up the game. (New issue since yesterday)

Every time I try to boot up Grounded my PC shuts down and restarts. I was playing for an extended period of time with no problems yesterday on max settings. Today I have only gotten past the “Press any key to continue” one time and it immediately shuts down my PC as soon as the options popped up for me to click on. I’ve looked into this issue on the net and have not found anyone experiencing this problem yet but I can also play my other games just fine. Any help would appreciated or at least an acknowledgement that it’s not on my end.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
