Can't play with friends yet?

Hey all, I thought multiplayer would be released with the Early Access but when I go to invite my friends the option is blurred out? I might just be dumb. Thanks

It worked for me after about 10 mins, currently in a game with friends now. Some framerate stutters but seems good otherwise.

While you cant invite on xbox yet, i managed to get into my friend's game by joining through the multiplayer menu. It showed up as a joinable session. An invite friends option should really be added.
