May 22, 20205 yr Hello, just bought the game, and having an intermittent issue when holding down the 'E' key to e.g. pick locks, open doors, whatever. What I am seeing is that when holding down the key, the white outline often starts to move clockwise around the icon, but then it resets and starts again. Weirdly sometimes it continues to move clockwise and completes the task without me needing to keep my finger on the E key, but most of the time I am spent keeping my finger on the key, and the process failing to complete. The outcome is that holding the E key is preventing me from stealing stuff while backs are turned. As a thieving scumbag this offends me. I can hold the key down for 15-20 seconds and still get this result. It's kind of difficult to play the game... Anyone else seen this behaviour?
May 22, 20205 yr Author I should add, it's mostly an issue when picking locks. But it has also shown itself with other "hold down E" use cases.
May 23, 20205 yr Author Turns out the problem was due to my wireless keyboard's battery being nearly run down.
