Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire is literally unplayable on xbox one

Bought this game today on xbox and its virtually unplayable because of the amount of bugs. Just about every single combat encounter ill assign an attack and the character will run the opposite direction, wasting the turn. Then randomly things will work normally for a turn or so then it goes right back to characters running away from the assigned target. I really enjoyed the first PoE but as it stands this one is a waste of money.
