DHill Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Hello, Outer Worlds keep crashing to desktop (CTD) randomly. Sometimes the games will CTD after clicking the game launcher via the Epic Store, other times the game will CTD at the main menu, and other times the game will CTD during game play after a few minutes to almost an hour. I’m still in the very beginning of the game where you first discover Edgewater. I haven’t been able to get much father than exploring the outskirts of the City. I have disabled game overlays such as those in MSI Afterburner. Graphics settings are set to ultra at 1440p resolution. The game appears to perform fine at these graphics settings when it runs. I’ve uninstalled the game and verified the game files and the game still crashes randomly. I’ve overclocked my graphics card using Afterburner. The power limit is set to maximum; the core has a 225mhz overclock, and there is a 500mhz overclock on the memory. UEFI setting are all set to default. All of my other games run fine. Is there any fix to this issue? Thank you so much for your time.
