Optional Aim Assist?

Yeah yeah, first the brats demand aim assist, now other brats (me) want it disabled. Can we reach a diplomatic middle ground and add it to the settings? Could any knowledgeable fellow tell me if, or when that is going to happen?

It's demeaning, I started playing before installing the latest update and now I have to wrestle wit the aim reticle...
