Outer Worlds crashes immediately

I downloaded the recent update last night (11/24).  Now, when I start the game, the main menu has green pixels all over the screen and flashes to black screen indefinitely.

- Confirmed Nvidia drivers are up to date. 

- Re-verified install of game through the Epic Games Launcher.

Please help.
