Issue storing items on ship

My wife and I are both playing on the Windows Store version of the game on separate PCs. Neither of us are able to store items aboard the ship. I'm able to store items (using the R key) in boxes outside the ship, but containers on the ship don't give me the option and pressing R doesn't do anything. I'm assuming this is a bug. Anyone else getting this?

 

UPDATE: Now that I have taken my ship to space, I can store things aboard the ship. I believe this a bug when the ship is on the first planet.

Glad you were able to store your equipment. This is a known state of the storage chest aboard the Unreliable, but thank you for passing this along.
