Storage Issues (Supernova Mode) PC

I am wondering if this is a bug, something unique to me, or something unique to supernova mode.

 

I have picked up some stellar gear I want to save for companions when I get them.  However on the PC I can't seem to store anything in lockers on the ship or anywhere else and i am basically encumbered.  So I am wondering if there is something I am missing when it comes to storing gear or do I first have to get the ship turned on and the only place I can store stuff is in the captains cabin?  I have seen numerous articles about being able to store things easily in the console editions.

 

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Edit:  I found lockers i can transfer gear to in some areas in the world, just no idea why it wont work on the ship.

Configure browser push notifications

  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
