August 7, 20196 yr I have a strange issue where if the game is open in the background on my machine it appears normal. However, when I switch the game to the foreground the screen goes extremely dark (this happens on the menu and in game as well). If I then switch the game to the background it returns to the correct brightness Do you have any suggestions on setting to make that could fix this issue please? I am using the GoG version of the game
August 14, 20196 yr Same problem here I think. Not sure how to make it go in the background... but as soon as I start a new game... I see the recap of the events of PoE 1, then it says something like "And so you awake to a sleepless world..." and the screen is just black, but I can see the cursor. I hit escape, and I see a very faint PoE2 Deadfire logo, but no actual menu. I have tried multiple resolutions, but no success. Extremely frustrating, especially when it has been out for so long.
