I swear, I spend minutes trying to line up the wall with multiple enemies. Anyone have any tips? It does not rotate the right way. 

The only thing I've been able to do with any of the "Wall of...." spells, is to position my caster so that he/she is parallel to the line that you want it cast to, like an archway, or an area where there is line of enemies, or where you think the enemies will be.  If the caster is at an angle to where you want it,  I find that there's not much flexibility in placing it exactly as you want it.
