I was sneaking around, I hadn't killed the monsters yet, and i talked to the xaurip in the cage

"leave it be" => -3 eder rep

later, after killing the monsters, I took the xaurip with me => +2 eder rep

 

I think the -3 shouldn't count in this case, it should just be the +2
