Auto Fight/Attack Question

I custom made each character their own custom auto attacks so that they cast the spells and abilities I set.

 

My question is this, due to me only doing this at end game, if I start a new game and set them with their custom attacks I made in the older game, will they use the non upgraded version of the abilities even though I have them set with upgraded versions of the abilities?
