Hi,

Today when I went to load up PoE2 and start a new game, I got the following error message

'Loading Error - There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save game corruption'

I tried multiple times and the error occurred regardless of whether or not I skip the intro. The screen goes black and it just boots me back to the main menu.  

 

This is pretty frustrating as I haven't even been able to get properly stuck into the game yet. I've got about 8 hours of playtime on another save that is working fine (seemingly).

It looks like some of your data isn't loading correctly.  If you're running from Steam, have you tried "Verify Integrity of Game Files" in Steam (from the Properties/Local Files menu)?
