  1. Update: after applying the first steam patch, 1.03, this bug is still active. Screenshot. Additional information: I also experienced a similar bug in the Elmshore area. The ogre druids in that area cast a spell with duration 0 seconds, only that spell remained active indefinitely until the game was saved and reloaded. It was one of the druid damage spells, which takes the form of a swarm of insects. I don't have a savegame handy to demonstrate that bug.
  2. The spell Call to Slumber has a duration of 0 seconds no matter whether it hits, crits, or grazes. A screenshot can be found here. My saved game can be found here. I've validated my game cache, and the install seems correct.
  3. The party successfully traveled to Elmshore the first time, then returned to Caed Nua to turn in the bounty on the ogre encounter in the cave. Afterwards, and after swapping party members around a little, I find that the game crashes upon returning to Elmshore. This renders the game impossible to complete, as the party cannot progress to areas beyond Elmshore. The precise effects of the crash are a normal loading screen, followed by a blank black screen with a generic windows loading cursor. Upon clicking the screen, it ghosts up with the normal windows non-responsive program dialogue box. My savegame can be downloaded here. (Please remove this link before making the post public, I don't particularly care to share my astonishingly crappy domain name.) My dxdiag.txt can be downloaded here. (Same with this one please.)
