Thanks guys! I'm gonna go hang my head in shame now.

Hello, first time posting here looking for advice or confirmation on this issue I've been experiencing. I am supposed to head north to Canada and have obtained my passport, but every exit I go to in town is still guarded by packs of rats. I've been searching for as much info as I can regarding the rats, and all I've come up with is one reviewer stating that they block the paths "until a certain point in the game". I don't know if I missed something or what, I've completed all side quests I have available aside from hide and seek and the underpants gnomes, don't see why I need to complete those but that's what I'll be working on after I post this anyway Anyone else experience this? Is it a glitch or did I miss something?
