i've seen this problem mentioned a couple times, but no real suggestions for solutions. my game frequently crashes and causes my computer to restart. using a nvidia geforce 2. aside from this, the game runs GREAT. are there any solutions to this, or am i screwed until a patch is released?

i ran into an odd glitch, and i'm not sure if it's part of the game. i scanned through a couple walkthroughs and found no mention of it, so i'm going to assume it's a bug and ask about it here. after i took control of the droid to gain access to the czerka mainfraim, and completed that mission, and regained control of my main character, i found that i no longer had any npcs. is this normal? where can i find them again?
